Moodboard and initial idea ‘CURSIVE EVE’
Initially I intended to do a music video for my favourite song.
The themes are
Being bound/trapped
inspired by the lyrics
I used AI for storyboarding but it didn’t help much
I found out the values are aligned with that video even now, even more, after exploring so much.
I didn’t mean to but I have now come to the final decision of loosely plot twisting a biblical story.

These are test renders made in Maya, some of them I rendered as sequences but they did not suit the direction and intention.
Inspirations (external_
I am truly inspired by Blur studio’s work especially the credits of a David Fincher’s film (I also love Fincher and his film).
I am inspired by Fincher, Aronofsky, writers, comedians, life, lots of things inspire me.
I feel like everything I have seen around me I have kind of integrated and looked at in context of this.
Often I react to world news with animation ideas, sometimes i write them down or record them. I have lots of ideas.

I spent a lot of time exploring different media for these reasons:
- trying to find what suits the tone best
- find out what I enjoy
- find out what I am good at
- find out what I am not good at.
I found out I am not as good in 3D as I thought.

Vector-based animation is difficult for me as I prefer really the hand drawn way where I express the motion directly.
