POV scrolling through social media feed on smartphone.

POLLY, young teenager, mousy hair.

It’s all pink and pretty. Suddenly one video is a horror video.

She is scared but intrigued.

V.OFF FROM PHONE (SVENGALI’S VOICE)

Shift, control, delete.

POV: feed shows Satisfying sounds and keys.

Face surprised/mixed feelings as she faces this content

She stares and stares and it stares back at her

Every time there is a cut, she looks more like a rabbit

She sees herself in the mirror and freaks out.

Her parents knocking on the door.

Polly is even more creeped out.

It’s her room but without the parents just hermetic silence and strange lighting.

She goes back into bed. Everything looks really cool and aesthetic.

An aesthetic spider web starts growing

It grows and it catches her in. she can’t move.

V.OFF SVENGALI

Just look at the screen!

The phone levitates towards her face and floats.

V.OFF SVENGALI

You can scroll with your eyes.

She is paralysed and scrolls with her eyes.

It is obvious she is not enjoying it.

She starts screaming.

‘Let me out’

You can go live, but you cannot escape.

fOR THE FIRST TIME WE SEE HIM SITTING APPEARED FROM NOTHING BEHIND THE COMPUTER. HE IS STRANGE.
